[ Angelo is here, which means there's an unfortunate soft drizzle of rain falling intermittently for the whole evening... Though Angelo has never given up on making his hairstyle withstand the horrible moisture, his attempts are... not met with the greatest success. And the shoulders of the riding jacket he is wearing are looking pretty soggy. It's fine.
The reason he's in the Solarium tonight is that he's trying his hand at flower arrangement - the only flowers he's using are red roses, of course. He's got a few of them at hand, and he's weaving them together with various filling greens in an elaborate set-up. There's wire involved in holding all this up the way it should.
He's currently being very quiet and ignoring all others present, but that doesn't mean he won't chime in when talk is being had. ]
[ Cain's only here because he timed his return to his room badly. Bottle of champagne in hand, pilfered from the ballroom (again, it's a miracle there's any left), he's about to make his way through the door into the salon when the door swings shut right in front of him. He pushes on it to no avail. ]
Ah, crap...
[ He looks around, sees some of the stems on a nearby pot moving on their own, puddles of water, figures that's probably a person. ]
[ Angelo shakes his head, because body language will be body language... Sorry Cain that all those cues are lost on you. ]
I don't drink anymore.
[ He's been hesitating on the matter earlier in the first week, overwhelmed by grief and... well, he's still overwhelmed by grief as evident by his rainclouds, but he's somewhat figured himself out on how to handle or not handle it. ]
[ Angelo does not look like he particularly wants to talk about what he's doing - if there is anything everybody has learned about him in the past two weeks, it's that roses are incredibly personal to him.
But after a short moment of contemplation, he decides to be... about as personable as he gets. ]
Thank you. I've never had this many fresh roses available to me at once before.
[ That gets Angelo to look over at G'raha properly. Even after two weeks, the cat ears seem alien (and a little ridiculous) to him. But some level of furry prejudice he didn't even know he had made Angelo assume that a person like that would have lived life surrounded by nature. So... he's a little curious now. ]
[ For a moment, Angelo looks like he wants to say something, but then he decides against it.
Actually, Siffrin can watch. Roses are beautiful, and meant to be seen. Maybe it's not so bad to silently share this agreement for a while. If the rain lets up just a small bit, that's just your imagination though. ]
[ If they're going to be trapped at least it's with a bunch of plants? That's how G'raha feels at least. Though a bit of his optimism has faded and there's no sunshine to be had radiating from him, it's instead replaced by a calm stillness.
He takes a seat at one of the tables and works on setting up a game of chess. ]
Should anyone care to join me for a round, the board is ready.
Siffrin is simply napping, hidden by some flowery bushes. Not a sound. Nor a single sneep. Soft breathing, but breathing. Their rest has simple gone on too long by accident. They do seem peaceful, though... They really should not be sleeping away from the suite, knowing what could happen at night. A pleasant spring breeze marks their location. ]
[ Being stuck with plants isn't the most riveting place to spend this weird hour of the night, but at least it makes for interesting pacing—
Especially when he smells the spring air out of nowhere, and practically stumbles over of his mini roommate. ]
Whoa—!
[ Actually, he's kind of relieved to see at least one of his roommates here. He'll worry about the others, but at least he knows Siffrin's in his care.

Hey, can you help me out?
no subject
That depends. If it's with getting out... then we're probably out of luck, no?
no subject
[ Fine, he'll put his champagne down and try the door in earnest, but it doesn't budge.
... ]
Dammit.
[ This again... At least he isn't alone naked in the bathroom this time.
Well! He picks up his bottle and whirls around, lifting it in Angelo's direction. ]
Oh well! Wanna share a drink?
no subject
I don't drink anymore.

Neither have I, to tell you the truth. You may as well make use of them while you have the chance.
[ Might as well steal all the roses he can while they're all trapped here. ]

Angelo's getting a very quiet observer. Unlike the other two, Siffrin seems content to watch his handiwork in peace. Very relaxing. ]

Can I ask you something odd?

I'm not going to stop you from asking.

Cain slides in opposite of G'raha, open bottle of champagne in hand. ]
Chess, huh? Been a little while since I played.
[ He extends the bottle to him. Drinky? ]
no subject
Shall I explain the rules again to you?
[ He eyes the bottle, considering it for a moment, but ultimately declines with a wave of his hand. ]
no subject
Anyway— ]
I think I remember 'em, generally. I'll figure it out on the way. Correct me if I get it wrong.
no subject
I assure you that I will.
[ He'll take the first turn himself so that Cain can adjust to the rules more easily and follow along rather than being put on the spot.
i am not going to be keeping up with this because i don't got that dog in me so g'raha's first few moves can be summed up through a 14 ]

Siff, why are you napping here?
no subject
Cain. Okay.)
Siffrin doesn't move to sit up, just opens their eye and stares at their roommate before closing it again.
(... Siff... He gave you a nickname.)
The floral scent is stronger. ]
It's a good place to nap. Did you come to get me for dinner?
[ uh ]
no subject
Well. ]
Uh... About that.
[ Siffrin might not see it, but his smile twists wryly. ]
We're stuck in here for the night. I'm afraid you missed dinner.
